Spies in the Museu!

24-03-2008

The Science of Espionage is much more than just an exhibition. Come to the Museu de les Ciències Príncipe Felipe (Prince Felipe Science Museum), open until the 1st April. You will become a secret agent and will experience a true account of espionage.

The Museu de les Ciències Príncipe Felipe (Prince Felipe Science Museum) is home until 1st April to the exhibition La Ciencia del Espionaje (The Science of Espionage), where children are invited to become real spies for the day, learning investigation and spying techniques and even fighting against a secret organisation.

The exhibition, developed by the London Science Museum in collaboration with the Museu de les Ciències Príncipe Felipe, enables visitors to get to know, through interactive modules, texts and display items, how the new technologies have improved techniques used by spies.  This main theme is complemented with content concerning privacy and security.

Recommended for children from 8 to 12 years of age, the Science of Espionage exhibition provides visitors with the opportunity to experience a true account of espionage by means of 6 interactive areas and exhibition modules that include the initial recruitment of new spies, a training base that tests various skills, a new technologies centre, a recreation of a secret organisation's  general station, a futuristic laboratory and a people detector that recreates the escape techniques used by spies.
