World Class Events

The Region of Valencia is fast becoming one of Europe’s best tourist and leisure destinations.

Some of the world class events held in this Region include the Formula One Grand Prix held on Valencia’s city circuit, the two world-renowned sailing competitions – the America’s Cup and the Volvo Ocean Race, which sets off from Alicante, – the World Athletics Championship in Valencia’s indoor arena, the ATP 500 tennis tournament in the City of Arts and Sciences, and the Golf Masters in Castellón.
