The world’s finest golf players take part in the Comunitat Valenciana Castellón - Costa Azahar Golf Masters at the Mediterráneo Country Club.

The Castellón-Costa Azahar Golf Masters will be taking place at the Mediterráneo Country Club in Borriol at the end of 2008. The Costa Azahar Golf Masters will boost tourism in the province of Castellón and will become a focus of attention for important tourist markets such as the UK, Germany, Italy and Scandinavia.

This new sporting event will attract major golfing stars from the European circuit; the best players in the world will be coming to the region, not only for the tournament, but also for a range of activities organised before and parallel to the Masters.

Over one week, the Mediterráneo Country Club will make Castellón and the Region of Valencia the world capital of golf. This event will be the focus of major media coverage, which will be beamed into over 550 million homes.
