The Moors and Christians arrive in Villafranqueza in March, when the castle is assembled, the lights are turned on and the proclamation is read. Dances, paellas, songs and chimes of bells, dinners, targets, parades, arcabucería shots, games, processions, flowers offers, 'mascletaes' and fireworks make up a full program of festive events.
