Na Valora Tower

It is one of the few pieces of evidence left behind of the mediaeval walls that were constructed around the town, or the first precincts of mediaeval Alcoy, the construction of which was carried out throughout the second half of the 13th century. The tower presents its base, the entrance gate and the corners with stone ashlars, and adobe walls were employed in its construction. Restored in the year 2002, its strategic position allows a wide visual command over the River Riquer and the exit of the Tints (Dyeworks).
