Multimedia Gallery

A free-standing building of modernist style, constructed by Vicente Pascual Pastor in 1909 for the offices of the Mount of Piety of Alcoy. It is currently the head office of the Caja de Ahorros del Mediterráneo (Mediterranean Savings Bank). In the lobby two large format canvases, of religious subject matter, by the painter Francisco Laporta, which were originally in the chapel of the Asilo de Ancianos Desamparados (Old People's Home), are exhibited. The entrance stairway is decorated with some artistic stained glass windows and the main floor is devoted to exhibitions and an assembly room.
