If you’re interested in discovering what daily life used to be like in Beneixama, you simply have to visit Museo Etnográfico, the ethnographic museum, which is housed in the old public wash house.
The collection features tools, utensils, furniture and books that tell the story of the town’s past. Each object gives you a greater understanding of how our predecessors used to live. The items in the exhibit were all donated by the local community and the collection was put on display when it was large enough.
Some of the most interesting items in the collection include a bedroom, a bathtub and sewing machines from yesteryear. There is also a cover that was used to protect the crops from bad weather.
Step into the museum to travel back in time and gain an insight into how people used to live in Beneixama as well as discover the village’s customs and traditions. A wonderful way to learn about the history of the Region of Valencia
