In June, El Realengo in Crevillent celebrates San Luis Gozaga, the town’s patron saint, with an event full of traditions that you will enjoy experiencing and street parties that will get you in the party spirit.

On the first weekend of the month, an offering of flowers is made to the saint and the ladies and queens are crowned. On the second weekend, there’s a carriage parade and plenty of fun events for children. While at night there’s music for you to enjoy.

On the 21 June, there is mass and a procession in honour of San Luis Gozaga, followed by a firework display. And the next weekend the whole village is invited to a dinner where your plate will be piled high with sardines and your glass never empty of beer. A great celebration of the sardine.
