The historic and monumental city of Elx and its Palmeral, a palm tree 5 kilometre courtyard with more than 200.000 specimens, offers beautiful sights. Considered the biggest in Europe, the Palmeral, 2Km long and 1km wide, surrounds the town's historical neighbourhoods and was declared Human Heritage Monument on the year 2000.
