On the Saturday before the second Sunday of May the notification of the next Fiestas de Moros y Cristianos (Moors and Christians Fiestas) in September is celebrated. It differs from other similar events in the district by the fact that all the fiesta-goers attend in official dress. As well as for the only Cabos de Escuadra (Corporals) contest in all the Moors and Christians fiestas.
