Situated in the square of the same name, with his work the Galician sculptor Magín Picallo (1991) offers a sober representation in black granite of the vicissitudes and comings and goings of a family of ice men, a model of so many others that were forced to make the seasonal migration throughout the geography of our country and also of the foreign geography as forerunners of this important current industry. It pays homage to the Ibi immigrant artisans who have internationalised the name La Ibense throughout the five continents.
