The boys and girls of Mutxamel start preparing for Carnival weeks before at their schools, reaching their climax with Carnival Friday, when they parade in fancy dress in a magnificently entertaining parade through the town streets, to the Canyar de les Portelles Park, where they all join in a fun-filled party with music and hot chocolate.
