Festivity of El Salvador

Main image

6th August is the Feast of El Salvador, the local patron saint, also known as the day of La Señal, which is the moment when the figure of the patron is taken out into the street as part of a solemn procession, together with the festival banners, which go around the streets telling the residents that there is just one month left until the great fiestas of September. At the end of the procession, those in charge also present the poster advertising the Moors and Christians festival at the Town Hall.
