The celebrations are dedicated to the patron saints of the village, San Isidro Labrador and the Virgin of Fatima, and they take place throughout the month of May. The first Sunday in May, a traditional pilgrimage to honor the Virgin of Fatima is held. The effigy is paraded on a cart pulled by oxen and she is honored with traditional folk songs. This act was motivated by the first Andalusians who came to settle in the village and concentrates a broad popular participation including a paella contest. The festivities include the celebration of open-air balls, a parade of floats with bands, and processions of Our Lady of Fatima on 13 May and of the patron saint and the effigy of the Virgin of Fatima on day 15. Besides the religious acts, other recreational and sporting events are held.
