The decoration of the boats of the local fleet, the offerings in honour of the Virgen del Carmen and lost seamen initiate the festivities, which are followed by the procession, carrying the effigy of the Virgin around the area of the port. Afterwards, a firework display puts an end to the days’ festivities.
