The "Associación Virgen del Rocío", with great cultural importance in the municipality of Torrevieja, organises each year the Pilgrimage in honour of the "Virgen del Rocío". The acts are completed with the Mass of the "romeros", which is celebrated open-air and the traditional "Carrera de cintas", aimed at horse enthusiasts.
