A Route through the Camí dels Geladors in the Font Roja
The region of l'Alcoià, also known as the Hoya de Alcoy, is an area full of nature, very mountainous and perfect for hiking lovers. The route of the Camí dels Geladors is 13.7 kilometres in length, its level of difficulty is medium, and it will take you about four hours and a half to cross it. The route is identified as PR-V 127, and from there, you can connect with other trails such as PR-V 81, PR-V 26, and PR-V 31. The information panel of the route is located in Ibi, on the Camino del Lavadero.
Among the places of interest that you will find on the PR-V 127 route are the Barranco de les Raboses, several neveros, farmhouses with rural architecture, and also El Menejador. A summit 1,356 meters high, from where you will have a stunning panoramic view of the surrounding vegetation and nature. Another place that stands out is the Paper Mill, a rather small space, with stone buildings of medieval style that allows you to dream of the tranquillity from past centuries.
