Benidorm has bet fully on running events. The Cross del Calvari has been celebrated for 39 years, although it is not the only one. There is also the Subida a la Cruz and the classic and emblematic Vertical Rise of the Grand Hotel Bali where the challenge is reaching the top floor after climbing the 52 floors in between the start and the finish line.
In recent years, the 10K Love Benidorm race has become very popular, an event for both children and adults, which has attracted nearly a thousand attendees in the latest edition.
Although if your thing is to compete, we recommend marking the Benidorm Half Marathon on your calendar, a 21-kilometre route through the city streets to enjoy a different perspective while maintaining a healthy and beneficial lifestyle for your body.
And this is not all, as in many Spanish cities, San Silvestre is also celebrated in Benidorm on the 31st of December to bid farewell to the year. It is a popular race in which most of the participants are dressed up in a Christmas attire.
