The festivities begin with the Rossegada picnic, which include the ‘entry of the tree trunks' with the cavalry, these are later used to build the traditional bonfire of San Antonio. Horse racing also forms part of the celebrations, along with the traditional dance of the Ball Pla, the sharing of coquetes and the benediction of animals with the barreja as the typical drink.
