The Benicasim coastline was a disembarkation point preferred by ‘Corsairs’ and ‘Berberiscos’, as a result of which eighteen watchtowers were built along the Castellón coast. Torre de Sant Vicent is one of them. Nowadays, it is the interpretation centre of Torre de Sant Vicent.
