The patron saint of sailors, her feast day has long been a tradition in the lands of El Grau. In the olden days the mass was held by the Bishop of Castellón in the orange wharf. It was there that people from other towns, that felt great devotion towards the Holy Virgin, came. The major, with the soldiers, participated in the procession that was undertaken on the sea accompanied by the Patron Saint San Pedro (Saint Peter). Nowadays one greatly notices the change given that the people are more devoted to the feast of San Pedro and to the bulls given the closeness of the dates. Nonetheless it continues to be celebrated backed by the Penya 1001 arts centre and the Maritime Captaincy of the Port.
