Cultural, gastronomic and festive events define Fiestas de San Pedro, a week-long event held at El Grao, the port area of Castelló de la Plana. The festivities pay homage to the patron saint of fishermen – San Pedro – and see the streets come to life.

The programme always shines the spotlight on cuisine. Indeed, one day you can tuck into the torrà of sardines and on another you can feast on delicious paellas. The best way to get the strength you’ll need for the many other events and activities.

Mascletás (gunpowder displays), live performances, the announcement of the queen and her maids of honour and the cavalcada de la mar (a parade) will fill the streets with colour, noise and traditional dress.
