Cervera del Maestre is a beautiful Medieval village whose historic centre is well worth taking a wander around. You'll also want to make time to see the impressive 12th century castle. And as if all this weren't enough, every last Sunday in May the village hosts a pilgrimage: Romería a la Virgen de la Font de la Salut.

Pilgrims walk to Real Santuario de la Virgen de la Font de la Salut, a church in the neighbouring village of Traiguera. There is mass, followed by live music performed by Unión Musical Santa Cecilia in the Renaissance portico. After the concert, lunch is served and a vibrant street party is held nearby. A great reason to visit the destination.
