On the Sunday after Easter, Traiguera holds a pilgrimage in honour of San Vicente. An historic tradition that lives on in this inland municipality.

A pilgrimage in honour of San Vicente, Romería en honor a San Vicente marks the start of the festivities dedicated to the saint in Traiguera. Held on the Sunday after Easter, these celebrations have a long history in this village, which is located in inland province of Castellón.

The pilgrimage starts in the village and continues to Real Santuario de la Fuente de la Salud. Holy mass is held in the church, followed by a lunch attended by many locals. In the evening, there is a "bous al carrer", the running of the bulls.

The pilgrimage is complemented with a programme of events on the Saturday before and Monday after the festivities. You can enjoy dances, music performances, street concerts and bouncy castles for children. A wonderful example of the traditions that are still very much alive in the inland.
