Festivities in honour of San Juan de Peñagolosa

The big day of these celebrations, the 29th of August, begins with wine tasting, muscatel offered by the inhabitants. At twelve o'clock midday a Mass ceremony is held in honour of San Joan in the Sanctuary, later, the day of the Patron Saint is commemorated by the interpretation of popular dances like "ball rodat", typical to the municipality.
