Summoning all its experience and expertise, Les Arts team has put together an incredibly diverse and inclusive programme for 2021/2022. There is a special focus on women in the world of performing arts, as well as plenty of classics and contemporary creations. The line-up is disruptive, breaking with stereotypes and instead forging a cultural journey that spans the course of 800 years.
The 2021/2022 season at Les Arts is defined by opera, zarzuela, dance, lied, great vocalists, symphony, Baroque music, flamenco and the rhythms of distant lands. There really is something for everyone. Leonard Bernstein’s Trouble in Tahiti, for instance, as well as classics, such as Verdi’s Macbeth. Arenas Musicales, meanwhile, combines piano and sand art, and there will also be ballet courtesy of Sol Picó (Titanas), Ballet Nacional de España and Ballet de la Ópera de Perm.
There is also plenty of opera and lied on Les Arts programme with great voices, such as Lisette Oropesa, accompanied by renowned orchestras and led by great directors. You can also enjoy traditional bands and flamenco with artists including María Terremoto. And to round up the season, there is also jazz, a talk by Ramón Gener and the opportunity to discover what goes on backstage.
