Published 30/11/2022
Music can take you around our territory, discover the fantastic concerts of a travelling music circuit!
Circuit Sonora, with concerts in Alzira, Orihuela, Aielo de Malferit, Castelló de la Plana, Alicante and Peñíscola, is a unique opportunity to enjoy some really interesting live music events.
Until March 2023 you will have the opportunity to attend concerts by bands with a very diverse profile, from local artists to newcomers, including some established names on the music scene. Circuit Sonora is designed for a wide range of audiences! The line-up has been put together with the musicians who were finalists in the previous edition of the Carles Santos Valencian Music Awards.
For example, you can attend a show designed to be enjoyed with the little ones, a concert by the great Ramonets in the Peñíscola auditorium, or listen to Mafalda, with their fusion of ska, reggae, funk and hardcore, who will perform with the Ding Dong System.
Circuit Sonora continues in Castelló de la Plana, in its auditorium, where you can dance to the rhythm of Santero y los Muchachos, or enjoy the fusion of musical genres of Valmuz.
Another date to make a note of to sing along to the songs of Òscar Briz is at the Museu de Belles Arts, where Besarabia, a trio of interesting Balkan and klezmer music, will also be playing. At this museum you also have an appointment with Jordi Sanz and his historical approach to music.
Luis Prado, former member of the Valencian band Señor Mostaza, will play at the Teatre Arniches in Alicante songs with everyday and intimate themes. Santero y los Muchachos will perform there again, and Òscar Briz will play at the Paranimf of the University of Alicante. There we can also enjoy Sandra Monfort joined by her inseparable guitar and Joe Pask and Júlia, who will close the Circuit Sonora.
