From the 21 March to the 7 April, València is hosting a new concert series that promises quality music performances that will delight your senses. Festival Músiques Religioses de Món will be held in the beautiful L’Almodí building, located in the historic centre of the city.
Músiques Religioses del Món is dedicated to shining the spotlight on religious music. The programme features six performances that invite the audience to discover religious music from all around the world. The sounds, chords and notes will reflect on a number of different topics such as death, forgiveness, eternity, the soul and goodness. Prestigious performers such as Capella de Ministrers, Sazed Ul Alam, Samsaoui Ensemble, Dúo Shirabe, Leonardo Luckert and Lluis Vich Vocalis choir are on the line-up.
The concert series will be held in L’Almodí, a building historically used for storing and selling grains. Inside you can see beautiful frescoes in addition to representations of the patron saints of the guilds operating in the trade. The building offers excellent acoustics so you can really appreciate the nuances and tones of these ancient musical pieces.
