Observe Ontinyent from the top of its bell tower accompanied by professionals
The Colla de Campaners d'Ontinyent , which since 1994 has been in charge of conserving the heritage of twenty of the bells in this municipality, has organized guided tours of the city's bell tower to make the privilege available to everyone and to have the opportunity to admire the views. From the top of the tower of the arciprestal church of Santa María, which stands out in all the panoramic images of Ontinyent as its tallest building, you will enjoy the experience of having at your feet the Vall d'Albaida and, as a backstage, the wealth of Serra Mariola .
The guided tours of the bell tower of the Villa will take place until April 7. Every Sunday at 10:30 am, the group will depart from the Plaza de la Iglesia to explore the rich places in Ontinyent, which will be shown to the visitor by local guides of the town who, in addition to knowing all its corners, will also be able to show the different treasures the town hides. The meeting point is the door of the Bon Pastor and, although it is not necessary to book early, punctuality is requested.
After seeing Ontinyent from above, inside the town you will find many other places that you should discover. The Gothic quarter, declared historic-artistic complex in the last century, the Plaza Mayor, where the Palace of the Counts of Torrefiel and the old City Hall are located and, of course, its suburbs, with the well-known Old Bridge as a magnificent landscape for our Photographs.
