Take on the challenge of the year: Swimrun Costa Azahar will put your resilience to the test with a tough race comprising trail running and wild swimming.

If you’re looking to take on a tough challenge and put yourself to the test, this is for you. The Region of Valencia is giving you the opportunity to enjoy a sports competition unlike anything you’ve ever tried before. Keep reading to find out more.

Swimrun Costa Azahar is coming to Oropesa del Mar on the 15 November with a competition that combines trail running and wild swimming. There are two categories of race available, both starting in the Mediterranean Sea and finishing at Playetes, a popular viewing point in the municipality. 

The swimming sections of the race will be disputed in the beaches of Oropesa del Mar while the running sections will take you through Renegà, the viewing point, Retor cove, la Concha, Morro de Gos and the Greenway. You have the option to compete either as an individual or as a pair. You can collect your race numbers from Feria del Corredor on the 14 November 2020. 

Event registration includes accident insurance, health assistance, food and drink stops, transport to Oropesa del Mar port in catamaran, event hat, finisher medal for everyone who crosses the finishing line, an official event cap and more. 

Swimrun Costa Azahar has also put together a companion guide to help you enjoy the race from start to finish. The guide will enable your partner, family and friends to accompany you throughout the different stages of the tough challenge.
