Explore the botanic garden in València accompanied by experts on the free guided tours running every weekend until the 14 March.
Discover the delights of Jardín Botánico de València this winter for free. Every weekend from the 23 January to the 14 March, the botanic garden is running guided tours led by experts who will tell you everything you’ve ever wanted to know about this natural oasis located in the city of València.
The Jardín Botánico is a museum nestled in the midst of the historic centre of València city. Its mission is clear: to bring the plant world to the public while promoting the study, teaching, dissemination and conservation of the natural world.
If you’re looking for something a little bit different to do in the city over the coming weekends, why not sign up to take part in these tours (advance booking required)? Get ready to observe how the garden has evolved over the winter months and be taken aback by the marvels of nature.
There are two types of tours available. One is designed for adults and will immerse you in the history of the botanic garden, its curiosities, most iconic plants and the most spectacular species at this time of year. The other is for families and will take you on an exploration of the botanic garden followed by an educational workshop that your little ones will love. The latter run on Sundays at 11am.
Created by Félix Pizcueta, the botanic garden is still used for research today while at the same time offering a wide selection of activities, tours and workshops that aim to protect natural spaces in cities.
