The permanent museum of nativity scenes and dioramas of Albaida was born in December 2002 as a result of the long history of the Association of Nativity Scenes from Albaida. It is currently located in a refurbished part of the Old Town Hall. Here we can see passages from the Bible with the typical decor of the place itself. The most interesting dioramas are those depicting the streets and places most emblematic of the town of Albaida itself. The museum houses the works which are hand made by the association. It was founded in 1982 and has at present a large number of partners. It has participated in various events, among them the 15th International Contest of Nativity Scenes or the 18th National Congress in Madrid with an attendance of over 700 Nativity Scenes from all over the world.
