The events scheduled each year by the Brotherhood and the town of Alzira around their patron saint begin the first half of September. The solemn Mass in the parish of Saint John gives way to the different liturgies in the Royal Shrine, the lowering of the image to the entitled Church, where it will remain until the eve of next year. In those days the devotees and all neighbours of Alzira have the opportunity to feel the main characters of a simply sublime event. The streets through which the parade passes take up a joyful look, both emotional and respectful, the same shown by the town of Alzira in the September afternoon of its patron saint day. In the traditional offering of flowers and fruits, the different institutions of Alzira throw themselves into the event by offering her flowers.
