Enjoy the Fallas in Manises like never before

March is synonymous with Fallas in Manises. This festival, dedicated to St. Joseph, is the maximum exponent of the Valencia festival.

Manises is one of the pioneers in setting up Fallas in Valencia, the first one being organised in 1924. Since then, the number of organising committees have grown constantly and there are currently 11 distributed throughout the different neighbourhoods in the city.

The organising committees, together with the city’s Local Fallera Board, are in charge of filling the agenda with festive activities.

The most notable events are the processions and street parties, the fireworks displays, parades and, particularly, the highly emotional flower offering to Our Lady of the Forsaken.

Rounding off this festival is the cremà (bonfire), the time when the monuments are set on fire, putting an end to the festival as well as setting in motion the next edition.

There is no doubt that the Fallas are not to be missed, a festival you must attend at least once in your life.

So, now you know. Manises is the ideal spot to enjoy the Fallas full of music, powder and colour.
