Every July, Manises gets ready to celebrate a festival in honour of Santa Justa and Santa Rufina, the patron saints of ceramists.

Manises boasts the title of being the birthplace of artistic ceramic production. As you walk the streets of the town, you will come across the tiles as part of beautiful architectural pieces that will leave you lost for words. Reason enough for the town to celebrate Fiesta de la Cerámica, the ceramics festival, every year in July.

On the weekend before the 19 July, ceramics take to the streets. Over 50 artisanal ceramists move their workshops to avenida Blasco Ibáñez so you can see how they make and decorate their pieces. Not only is this an opportunity to see history and tradition in motion, you can also put what you learn into practice and take a souvenir of the town home with you.

If you are coming to the town for Fiesta de la Cerámica, we recommend staying for Cabalgata de la Cerámica on the 18 July. During this parade, the floats of the associations representing Santa Justa and Santa Rufina make their way down the streets, handing out artisanal pieces to the crowd. A truly unique experience.

So what are you waiting for? Come to Manises to experience its artistic traditions at Fiesta de la Cerámica, an event of regional tourist interest.
