The town streets are filled with fire, light and music during the celebration of the festivities in honor of San Felipe Neri. Gunpowder is the main focus of the celebration, as it is present from early in the day on 'despertàs' (wake-up calls) and lasts until sunset, when the spectacular 'correfocs' (firecrackers) arrive. The festive atmosphere is completed with funny parades and cavalcades.
