The sobriety of the various processions and solemn character of each of the acts, provide the festivities with a special feeling of retreat. During the Holy Week, the Week of Sacred Music is also celebrated, with different interpretations of tunes related to religion and the church. Our Lady of Sorrows (Virgen de los Dolores) is the patron of Requena and her feast coincides with Good Friday of Holy Week.
