- Montaña del Castillo
The castle was part of the defensive system of northern Valencia and has a 600 square metre plan. The northwest tower, with a square plan, two stretches of crenelated wall that connect to the tower and a well still remain. There are also some ruins of a smaller second tower, also located in the northwest side; some fragments of the perimeter walls and ruins of the beginning of the other walls, which make possible to recompose the castle’s irregular plan. The thick walls are built with masonry, gravel and mortar. Topographically is located at 536 metres and, from this height, it offers views of the Valencian coast and the green huerta from east to south.
