Monasterio de Santa María de la Valldigna presents Ciclo de Conciertos del CIMM, a music programme by the International Centre for Medieval Music (or Centre Internacional de Música Medieval in Spanish). The centre of studies and cultural project specialises in music from the Middle Ages, putting on a number of live performances starring the big names - from Spain and Europe - in the world of historic music. The programme runs all year round with performances held on the first Saturday of every month (with the exception of August). January kicks off with Artefactum, a quintet formed of the medieval viola, organetto, hurdy-gurdy and percussion. Check out the full programme to discover the sound of the past.
