Celebrated in honour of San Antonio Abad. At night the bonfires, made with the firewood collected from the countryside by the young people, are lit. The townsfolk roast meat on the bonfires and they all have dinner out on the street creating a very special atmosphere. In like fashion the verbena (open-air celebration held on the eve of a saint's day) provides evening entertainment for the whole town after the dinner and bonfires.
