The day begins with an auction of typical dishes, made by the townsfolk, the main aim of which is to recover and uphold the gastronomy that is typical to this town. In the afternoon there is the pozalà held in the public washing place and the chicken in the square in which the young people of the town are blindfolded with four handkerchiefs, they are spun round and around and then placed in front of the chicken, which they have to try to find without stepping over the two parallel lines previously drawn on the ground. If they manage to reach the chicken they have to try to touch it three times with the sword that they are carrying. If on the third occasion they do not manage to touch the chicken they are eliminated but if they manage to touch it then it's theirs. Between each trial the Mounted Official plays the cornet and the numerous public has to remain completely silent to avoid helping to orientate the youth. After this there is the traditional race to the Shrine of San Roque, along the old way and afterwards the return to Sot through all the main streets of the town. After the passacaglia, in which the clavarios and calvarias dress up in typical costume, figs and mistela (a grape liqueur) are handed out to the whole town.
