The neighborhoods of La Canal or Las Palmeras are the setting for the festivities of San Roque. The agenda of the celebrations includes many leisure activities, such as open-air dances or pyrotechnic events, not to forget the religious ceremonies in honor of San Roque and the celebration of the Eucharist. Thus, the town of Sueca is deserted and festive focus is moved to these neighborhoods.
