This, the last and the most spectacular of the buildings in the City of Sciences, has been conceived as a global arts centre, with a capacity as a venue for opera, dance and open-air concerts. A first rate artistic programme, aiming to offer a global vision that, stemming from and revolving around music, encompasses other artistic and cultural disciplines. The Arts Centre has a stage of more than 1,500 m2, incorporating the most advanced technology in order to be able to host any operatic, musical and stage show as well as mobile platforms, interchangeable stages and simultaneous translations through the screens in the seats themselves.
