The Bishop’s Palace is Gothic Renaissance style and was constructed during the c.XV-XVII. This palace was the summer residence of the Archbishops of Valencia until the Mendizábal confiscation. At the present time all that is conserved is the noble part of the residence. Its staircase stands out, and the Roman stone plaques of the Roman cemetery are set into the wall. What was once the Roman cemetery is today the church square. In the entrance door one can also see the sculpted shield of Alcublas in black stone with the coat of arms of the house of Austria.
