Since 1997, when the first bonfire was made inXeraco, the Josephine festivities have been consolidated in the population thankst to the high acceptance and participation of the neighbors. Thus, during holidays, the streets of the town are filled with a festive atmosphere characterized by firecrackers and 'mascletaes', parades and marches. The most emotional night is San Jose's, when fire catches to the monuments, with the excitement and sometimes, sadness, from the audience.
