Nowadays, Otos has more than 30 sundials with several designs and features. Year after year, either private or public initiative, new ones are made. But the sundials in Otos are not only more or less romantic instruments which tell us the time in a serene and ancient way. They are also works of art with a certified quality by the signatures of their authors. And, moreover, in many of them we will find an intention more or less explicit to pay homage, explain, agree and reclaim the culture, the language, the history, the characters and the land. The route of the sundials has become an indispensable visit for schools, associations and citizens in general interested in gnomonics and art or, simply, people loving culture who don't resign themselves with the traditional touristic offer.
