The Sierra de Irta Natural Park is known for being practically the last undeveloped stretch (14 km) of the entire Spanish Mediterranean coastline from France to Andalusia. Its mountains, its coves and beaches, and its impressive cliffs are one of the last natural testimonies of what the Mediterranean once used to be, before it gradually disappeared over the last fifty years.
