We will take the tourist train up to the Castle of Sagunto, Spains largest fortress, which was conquered by the armies of Hannibal Barca, leading to the Second Punic War between Rome and Carthage. We will visit the Roman Theatre, which dates back to the times of the Emperor Tiberius Claudius. We'll also explore the area and visit the archaeological museum, where we will see important pieces such as the Iberian Bull and the announcement of the re-founding of Sagunto by Publius Cornelius Scipio. After that we will try some Valencian sweetmeats and liqueur.
