What to see in la Pobla Llarga

Start your visit wandering around the centre, discovering the stone sculptures decorating some of the historic façades. The former homes of noble families lining Mayor and Vall streets stand proudly in the town’s oldest district. Afterwards, spend some time at San Pedro Apóstol Parish Church. Built between the 16th and 17th centuries, this Renaissance-style place of worship is home to interesting works of art. 

Next on your list of things to do in La Pobla Llarga is visiting Sant Pere Market and admiring the façade of the old Monterrey Cinema. Close to the cemetery, there is also an old wayside cross, carved from stone and dating to the 14th century. 

To make sure you don’t miss any of these points of interest, you can follow the self-guided tour arranged by the council, which includes information panels at key places. 

If you fancy walking some trails in La Pobla Llarga, make your way to Serratella nature area, where there is a recreational area. It’s about 2.5 km from the village and is an easy walk.
