Assembly of the Bonfire and ‘sobaquillo’ dinners (bring your own food)
Friday, June 21st.
-8 p.m. The town’s Fiesta Beauty Queens (Belleas) are picked up at their home’s door step. Starting from Saint James Church and ending in our fair stall (barraca).
-At 9:30 p.m. INAUGURATION OF THE BARRACA AND EXALTATION OF THE BEAUTY OF THE FOC. We inaugurate the week of Bonfires by putting the banners to the Belleas del Foc, Padrinas and Foguereras de Honor. Then, dinner and DJ music.
Saturday, June 22nd at 9:30 p.m.
COSTUME PARTY
Our costume party is open to anyone who wants to participate. This year we are waiting for you dressed as any mythological being. We will have ‘sobaquillo’ dinner and live music with the FMC group.
Sunday, June 23rd.
-At 11:00 p.m. THE MAGIC NIGHT (La nit màgica). This night the party moves to the beach (Centre beach), where you can enjoy our show “La nit màgica”. Location: Sea promenade – Red Cross.
-At 00:00 h. FIREWORKS CASTLE. Fireworks show on the beach with party and disco music.
Monday, June 24th. Saint John's Day.
-At 08:00 a.m. ‘DESPERTÀ’.
Els Milotxes go to the Beauty Queen’s houses the and throw firecrackers at their houses’ door steops to wake them up. Prepared early in the morning in the Madaleneta Era, with our particular pyrotechnic arsenal, we began a parade enlivened by a dolçaina and tabalet.
-At 2:00 p.m. MASCLETÀ.
Our Belleas del Foc from the balcony of the Town Hall will begin a great mascletá (big gunpowder throwing) at the Constitució square.
-At 8:00 p.m. MASS IN HONOR OF SAINT JOHN THE BAPTIST.
With an offering of flowers to the Lady of the Rosary.
-At 8:45 p.m. PASACALLES.
From our fair stall (barraca) we start with a parade enlivened with dolçaina and tabalet music.
-At 01:00 a.m. CREMÀ I BANYÀ.
The Bonfire is burnt and then “banyà” and music.
